I had the worst interview everrr today.
This was a round 2, and the 3 of 3 people I had to met. I was supposed to see her the first time I went, but she left early that day, so I had to go in just to see her. Everything was going well with the interview, she was asking me about past work experiences, and things like that.
Then she asked me a really hard analytical question: How many stations are there in the subway station. Unsure, I simply said 150 stations, then changed my answer to 15 lines imes 16 stations. She then said, what about the stations that multiple train stations stop at. Needless to say with the complexity of the train stations, I was stumped and it showed. Eventually I came up to the answer of 160 stations.
Her follow up question, after only 1 question outside of the who are you questions was "do you have any questions for me?" Meaning that the interview was over... She then proceeded to ask me, why should/shouldn't we hire you?" and "Let me walk you to the door."
The entire interview took about 30 mins of the usual alotted 60 minute interviews... Needless to say, it the interview went poorly and I bombed the interview.

Post Grad Celebrations
The ceremony was held at Lincoln Center, and it was short and to the point, 1.5 hours max. However it was not the same, no throwing of caps at the end :( which I totally called the dean out on afterwards!
After the ceremony, GBA held a nice reception for us at our Lincoln Center campus. It was actually really nice and OMG the chocolate strawberries!!! YUM! Marianna ended up coming out to the reception and I bumped into BoMa as well as my many other GBA friends new and old! :)
After the reception, a bunch of us headed to the Hudson Hotel. The first thing I heard is - the dean is sitting in between the two bushes and buying drinks! SKETCHY right? But alas, it wasn't apparently it was like mini section separated by trees lol. But wow, I was drinking at the dean at the Hudson Hotel! He bought us drinks and even offered me a job at GBA! :)
Great night, I'm going to miss you all!

Andorra Mission to the UN/US
Yesterday I met with the Ambassador of Andorra (a small country located between France and Spain). He told Marianna and I some interesting stories, some of which were probably too sensitive.
Turns out he had an alternative motive. He was kind of smoozing me to try to hire me to be an external consultant, considering my current employment status, I'd so be game for that!

Nats 2011 at West Point
This past weekend (Friday-Sunday) was APDA Nationals at the United States Military Academy at West Point. The weekend was tons of fun but super exhausting as well. I helped out al ot more than I should have, lol. I finally caught up on sleep today!!!
The weekend was great, I got to see a lot of my friends and made a ton of new ones.
Friday night I went to be at 4:45 AM and somehow woke up at 8 PM and on Saturday I went to bed around 6 AM and woke up at 10 AM. Needless to say I was exhausted Sunday morning - which is a rare stage to see me in.
Some highlights of the weekend:
Friday
- Fun train ride up to West Point with Faye, Greg and Ryne
- Playing with guns!
Saturday
- Bull riding with Em in our skirts
- Banquet with some hiliarious senior speeches and wearing my old my prom dress
- Colin trying to hit on me
- Dealing with a very drunk Harry Murphy - Murphy's Mission. A large and in charge drunk Harry had fallen asleep in Matt Katz's bed, could not be woken up. After a longgg time and lots of nudging, we finally managed to wake him up. We eventually got him to Matt's car where he drove him to his hotel. However once we got there, we weren't sure exactly what his room number was. We walked to the room, then tried the key, however it did not work. We continued to try the next 7 doors, none of which worked. We then headed back to the car, when Bear decided that Harry could just crash in their room. We drove back and he just passed out on a recliner. Oh Harry!
- Tyger teaching me how to 2 step in the TOC room
- Fun car ride with Tyler to the train station
Overall, a great weekend! Great job West Point Speech & Debate!

Hell Week is OVERRRR
My sister, mom and dad left for Boston at 3 AM this morning for an accepted students day at Boston University. I think J-Dawg's going to be going there and leaving :(
And looks like the pot luck I was going to go to today got cancelled, so I guess I'll be home alone til they get home.

Thursday turned out to be 'Hell Day" as I called it, just so much work to do. But it's all over now! Thursday was the last day of classes at GBA. I'm essentially done now, minus the hybrid law class in which I have a 30-50 page paper due. Good times!
I was so exhausted today I went out on a coffee break (and ended up with an Oringina) and took a nap as soon as I got home!

Networking for Entrepreneurs
Today was the big event that I was planning for my "Communications for Entrepreneurs" class.
The event went rather smoothly, the name tags, table signs and event signs I made went well, most of the people showed up and there was plenty of food!
We presented our ideas to guests of our classmates in a “speed networking” format. We were given four minutes to present our “1-minute pitch” and then receive questions and feedback from the contacts on how we could improve their ideas. After the four minutes, we would move to the next table and give their pitch again.
I had Joe and Greg at my table, which was cool, I love those guys! We were also placed next to Heidi and her sister Bonnie who are really fun girls!
The event was a lot of fun!!! I had such a great time I stayed there til 10:30 PM - one hour past the set end time! We even closed out the restaurant!

NY State Tournament
I stayed with Caitlin last night, which was a lot of fun. Caitlin, Andy and I went out for dinner at Umi Nom, this cute Asian restaurant last night. Afterward Caitlin and I wandered around Fort Green for dessert, and ended up getting this salty/sweet caramel sundae thing.
Today was a lot more fun, but dull at the same time. I judged up til semis and didn't squirrel!!! :)
Took me 2 hours to get home though... I"m so done for the night lol

Spring Break in Boston
I left Wednesday after work with Bob (debate friend from West Point) and arrived in Boston around 6:30 PM and headed downtown to see John. I hadn't seen John since we were in Nassau! We went out for sushi at this cute little restaurant not too far from the Sheraton.
I was waiting for a while for Bob and Marianna (co-intern at the UN) to arrive... They both finally arrived around noon. Marianna was super exhausted when she arrived and 180 from her normal cheery self, so she headed to Connor's place first, while Bob and I wandered around Boston.
We then headed back to the hotel, I said my farewells to John and we headed to my friend Connor's apartment. When Connor finally returned from class we headed out to Newbury Street, however there was nothing going on, so we headed to Faneuil Hall, which was a bit more lively, but nowhere as crazy as it is in NY. We ended up going to a bar, where I got a green drink - I think it was an appletini? It was yummy!
We then headed to Long Warf - Boston Harbor, which was very quaint, the headed to the "Top of the Hub" in the Prudential Center. The place was located on the 52 floor and had a gorgeous view overlooking all of Boston. After some drinks, we headed to the Cheesecake Factory and met up with none other than JAKE and RYAN!!! I had not seen Jake since Nats last year, so that was a nice surprise!
We went to Joe's Bar and Grille for Brunch where we got mimosas - Connor and Bob's first! :) Then headed to South Station for the bus home. We actually made good time and made it in a little under 4 hours!
I got Krispy Kreme donuts!
I had a great time in Boston!!! Thank you Connor for being such a great host, taking us around and letting us crash at your place and giving up your bed; Jake, Josh and Ryan for coming out and seeing me; Bob and Marianna for making the trip out with me!!!

My First Pageant!!!
Today I tried something new and competed in my first pageant(s)--the Miss Manhattan/NYC/Southeast NYC Pageant and the Miss Metropolitan/Greater Gotham/Liberty Pageant. It was a "super pageant," two pageants in a row.
The pageant was a lot of fun and definitely not what you see on TV. The girls were super cool and some of them were really smart and soo sweet!
The pageant was your standard pageant with an interview, swim suit, on stage question and evening gown portion. I got asked the most obscure and most irrelevant questions. At the first pageant my question was:
I even made a new friend - Nardeen, who actually won Miss Greater Gotham!

Fill in the rest of this sentence: "I am most afraid of..."To which I answered something to the effect of
"I am most afraid of... jumping off buildings because I'm afraid of heights!"During the second pageant, I was asked
Hoarders has been a huge phenomenon, are you a hoarder or a tosser? To this I answered something like:
I think it's important to save the important things that have special memories, but the stuff that doesnt... it's gotta go!I got some laughs with both responses, so I guess that was good! :)

Pageant Interviews!
As part of my New Year Resolutions, I wanted to try new and exciting things, so I am entering some local pageants--Miss Manhattan/NYC/Southeast NYC and Miss Metropolitan/Greater Gotham/Liberty.
The interviews went pretty well... I hope? The first one went a lot better than the second one. I had them laughing and everything with me. Although I think they think I do twitter dating. I mentioned how I met VansJerry on Twitter last night and how he introduced me to pro BMXers.... but I guess I phrased it wrong LOL! They were just messing with me! Can't wait til tomorrow!

BMX Night at House of Vans
Tonight was the first ever BMX Night at the House of Vans. Andrei and I headed down to the event after work today. The House of Vans was pretty sick, how did I not know this place existed? It was super cool, there were tons of ramps, quarterpipes and a bowl. They even had a station set up outside for BBQing food!
At the event, I met the guy who I had found out about the event from on Twitter. Apparently hes somewhat of a big deal and introduced me to SCOTTY CRANMER and DAKOTA ROCHE!!! OMG Scotty was such a sweetheart and I somehow managed to get his number!!!
