Don't get the wrong idea guys... this was definitely a twist on what you would envision for a pajama party. It started off with a Q&A with Galaxy Pageants CEO/International Director Maria Torres, followed by many "skits" from the contestants.
My favorite presentation had to be from Mrs US Galaxy. She presented Maria with a sand ceremony, similar to those you see at a wedding, to commemorate the 15th Anniversary of the Miss Galaxy Pageant. It was very sweet and thoughtful.
Unsure of what to do I wrote a poem and in true BXDT (Bronx Science Debate Team) fashion ended up becoming a rap.

My name is Elizabeth Tam
So happy to join the Galaxy fam
Born and raised in New York City
I'm wearing this kimono to rep the Asian in me!
Excited to get to know you all better
I'm happy we're all here together
Lasting memories we will create
The fact that we are all here must be fate
Can't wait to see what the rest of the week will hold
And all the great times that will unfold.
I concluded my rap by jumping off the stage in my 6 inch Marc Defang Tippy Tops!
