Today we left for the Canadian Rockies. The travelling took pretty much the whole day. I had to wake up a little before 9 AM since uncle steve was coming around 10 to take us to Newark airport. From there we flew to O'Hare airport in Chicago and there to callgary in canada. Once we got to the airport and landed we picked up the rental car and drove to our hotel in Banff.
We had gotten to the area and what we had thought to be our hotel around 9 pm. However the hotel check-in time was from 4-8. Luckily after much time sitting in the car waiting and trying to figure out how to check in we learned that we actually had reservations for another hotel with a similar name, Banff Rocky Mountain Resort.
Turns out that the hotel was not in town but off the highway right outside of town. We finally got our room and Jacqueline and I had to share a sofa bed.
