Challenge a Celebrity

 This past weekend, I was invited to be a part of the "Challenge a Celebrity" event at the International Vision Expo with Think About Your Eyes and Thuzio!  The event was a lot of fun, attendees were give the option to challenge and take pictures with me, Miss NY 2012 or another celebrity.

Little did everyone know, I am actually pretty decent at playing basket ball in hoops!  Also, thank you to Jay Godfrey and Marc Defang for the dress and shoes!

On Friday, I made an appears with none other than former NFL player Tiki Barber of the NY Giants!  Tiki was very nice, we were even dancing on the floor at one point!

Saturday, I had the pleasure meeting heavyweight boxing champion Larry Holmes.  Sadly he refused to challenge me in basketball.  He probably knew I would give him a run for his money! ;) However, I did try to take him down at one point!

After our appearance I was able to meet, speak and even get a hug with NY Yankee Mariano Rivera who was super sweet!

On Sunday, I met Olympic figure skater Sasha Cohen.  She was a total sweetheart and also surprised at how good we were at basketball.
